I have noticed the past months how I am becoming unneeded more and more.. I loveht!

As a parent, my big goal is for my sons to become independent beings who are productive and a joy to other people.  So it is expected that I become unneeded.

So since I’m unneeded most of the time, when there is an excuse for me to hang out, I’ll do it.

I have been “sentenced” by my kid to not join him in his field trip this year.  He wanted to sit beside the popular kid, his best friend also.  But they’re going to a theme park and those who won’t bring guardians can’t ride the rides…. So now I’m sentenced to come along! 

lol.  I don’t mind.  As long as I’m needed, I don’t mind appearing

with your baby,

get over it.

You will find that kids wiggle a lot on their own, will later think on their own, and make (smart and not so smart) decisions on their own.

You are a parent, you are not your child.

So if you worry on each and every thing and believe you are the only one who can do good for your child, and even your child can’t do anything good for the self,  good luck to you and your kid.

You can call them “Dude” and it doesn’t sound trying-hard or out of place.
